Care Instructions
🌧 How to Wash a Raincoat
Preparation
• Empty all pockets and close every zipper, button, and Velcro tab.
• Brush off dirt or mud with a soft brush or damp cloth.
Washing
• Use cold or lukewarm water (maximum 30°C).
• Wash on a gentle cycle or, preferably, hand-wash.
• Wash separately to avoid snagging or coating damage.
• Choose a mild liquid detergent.
• 🚫 Avoid fabric softeners, bleach, or harsh powders (they can damage the waterproof layer).
Alternative Quick Clean
• For light dirt, wipe the raincoat with a damp cloth and mild soap.
Drying
• Always air-dry. Hang the raincoat on a hanger in a ventilated space.
• Keep it away from direct sunlight to prevent fading or weakening of the waterproof coating.
Storage
• Store the raincoat hanging (not folded) to prevent creases or cracks in the material.
